VCN Supplies Relief Materials to the Earthquake Victims
We do not have to describe how powerful was the earthquake that hit Nepal on April 25th. The media worldwide covered the news in depth about this devastating earthquake which measured 7.8 Richter scale.
Volunteers Community Nepal went into action immediately as soon as the communication, transportation & electricity resumed in Kathmandu. Initially VCN distributed 1100 kg. of puffed rice, 50 cartons of instant noodles, 40 cartons of biscuits, and 440 kg. of beaten rice, 50 pcs of mosquito nets, 50 pcs of blankets, 50 pcs of torchlight, shops, 110 kg. of Dal, 22 pcs of Tents, 22 pcs of water filter etc. to the earthquake victims at various places of Bhaktapur district, those family members who lost their family members, where most of the houses were destroyed by the devastating earthquake.
